Intelligent Agriculture Mobility and Tractor (IAMT)

IAMT stands for Intelligent Agriculture Mobility and Tractor. IAMT laboratory is established in 2014 under the Department of Biosystems Machinery Engineering in Chungnam National University, Republic of Korea. IAMT believes “Save a horse, Ride an agricultural Mechanization”.

IAMT is playing a vital role in the agricultural machinery researches sector globally. It has 12 members (2 in Ph.D. course, 4 in Master course, 5 bachelor students, 1 researcher) in total including international and part-time students. Dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm of the lab members, it becomes one of the leading laboratories throughout the world. They were awarded in several academic best presenters in domestic and overseas for outstanding contribution in research. Research efforts in the fields of gear and powertrain analysis, power flow and load analysis, vehicle dynamics, and hydraulic system of the agricultural machineries have resulted in 70+ patents registration so far.

Recently, IAMT is doing the collaborative researches with Hokkaido University, Japan and University of Florida, USA. The keen intention of this lab is to contribute the upcoming challenge to feed the world population through the automation of the global smart agriculture.
